This easy to use blueprint allows you to do draw a spline and animate a light trail along it. Perfect for architectural renders or highlighting routes in-game. What’s more, the Glow Path blueprint is super efficient and light on frame rate – unlike similar products, it does not add spline mesh components to grow the light trail, instead it makes use of dynamic material instance so you are simply animating the material rather than the spline mesh, so it renders super quickly!
Easily adjust the opacity, glow strength, width, length and shape of the Glow Path (10 styles to chose from).
Update 1: Glow Path now provides the option to use a custom texture for the arrows.
Update 2: The Glow Path now has the option to be visible behind walls/any mesh. The colour and opacity of the part of the Glow Path behind a wall/mesh can be controlled.
Update 3: The Glow Path has been updated to include a ropes and cables option – which can also be animated along spline.
Update 4: The Glow Path has been updated to include an “offset” variable to change the starting point of the path. Also, the Glow Path Length variable has been fixed so the slider exactly matches the percentage of the Glow Path completed i.e. 0.5 = 50%.
Note: nDisplay plugin must be enabled (it is by default)
