There are 32 FX and 1 post-processing fx in this package. All was made by sampling from one noise texture.
Which mean there is only one texture in this project.
Include 35 master materials and 15+ custom static mesh.
Rather than a production asset, I would say I made this for sharing as training/studying resource.
I created this Noise texture by Substance Designer. This noise texture was packaged by 3 different resolution of noise map. I try to show the possibilities how we can make the FX by the different detail resolution of noise texture.
The noise is also providing the organic data to make FX to be more detail variation and avoid repeated look in play.
We definitely can create more than 33 FX here by tweaking the noise value and working with different shader tricks.
Beside it, there are some tips and tricks on custom mesh and Niagara set up for reference. I try to make it simple and easy to control. I think it could be a nice resource for junior FX artist.
