THE SCI-FI FLAME THROWER ROBOT
A cinematographic result – ideal for a realistic scene composition and video game !
- The 2-million-vertex mecha is fully nanite supported, so you can visualize its movement in REAL TIME without any worries.
- The Robot’s texturing uses its ambient occlusion maps, allowing you to use any texture (from the pack as well as your own), so crevasses and mesh reliefs will always be respected, giving a striking realism. You can zoom in as much as you like, and with Smarts Materials your textures will NEVER be blurred. Finally, material instances let you add 2 layers of your choice to the Robot’s base texture. In the screenshots above, I’ve used mud for the first cover and damage for the second. But you can customize all this, as a texture library is included and you can let your imagination run wild with dust, rust, dirt and many others.
- The Robot has 32 animations, all accompanied by sounds. ANIMATIONS OVERVIEW
- The 32 level sequences I used to create the animations are also included in the pack. You may find them useful if you wish to modify them and create other animations.
- The high poly meshes are all modeled with 2 bevels on their entire edge to perfectly reflect the light. A normal map could not reach such a level of realism.

The flame rendering has been reduced to suit all computer configurations. If you wish to increase the flame rendering, go to content>P8_QuaRobot>FX>NS_Flamethrower and in the grid3d emitter clic on “Emitter Summary”, the “resolution max axis” value will improve rendering. We’ve set it to 80, but you can increase it to 256 (or more if your configuration allows).
