- All grounded locomotion animations blend within appropriately created Blend Space assets. (Examples are provided.)
- Appropriate curves (e.g. distance curves) and sync markers are provided on animations. (To facilitate proper blending in the provided Blend Space assets, I removed a few sync markers from two to three Sequence assets. As you’re aware, Blend Space assets can be…finicky.)
- Animations were recorded and cleaned on the UE5 Manny, and therefore the UE5 Manny is the supported skeleton. That said, I have provided Pose Assets in T-Pose for both the UE4 and UE5 skeletons for your own use in retargeting, if desired. Also, for the convenience of users, I have included the full set of animations on the UE4 mannequin.

Animations for the Start, Stop, Pivot, and Loop (Cycle) states are 8-directional for both Walk and Jog gaits, and they were created specifically to blend within Blend Spaces. Similarly, for the Turn-In-Place state, animations are provided at 45-degree increments (for both leftward and rightward turns) and likewise blend well in Blend Spaces. The emphasis on proper blending is unique to my animation pack(s), and the intent is to facilitate maximum locomotion coverage for both conventional and motion-matched character locomotion systems, therefore providing flexibility for designers. (Example Blend Space assets are provided and can be used as-is or as reference for creating your own.)
