Animation Tutorial and Example
North American style electrical switches and outlets. The switches all have blueprints for easy animation. The faceplates, switches, and outlets material settings can be quickly customized from their details panel to fit your environment. The material settings available for customization are color, metallic, and roughness.
The outlets in the package include type A (two prong) and type B (three prong) outlets in both duplex (2 outlets) and quadplex (4 outlets) styles, as well as a GFCI outlet. The switches in the package include toggle switches panels with 1-4 switches, duplex style toggle switches, panels with 1-3 rocker style switch, and a light dimmer that features a power button and slider.
Blueprints for the animations are in the “Moving Parts” folder of props. All “toggle switch” style switches use the same toggle switch blueprint. Rocker switches have 3 blueprints, the one to use depends on how many switches are on the prop you are using. The event graph for all moving parts contains the animation. To use animations, call the “Switch On” or “Switch Off” events on the switch type that you are using from any blueprint.
