Need a track for your vehicle quickly, easily and most of all painlessly? Then this is for you!
REPLICATION UPDATE – I have just pushed the new replication update. With this update you will see a rather large rework with the tracks. Please see the new additions to the documentation.

Track Tool is a BP originally built to make my life easier (I hate repetitive tasks) and thought that you guys could use it as well.
Simply-
- Move your spline into the desired shape
- Add models such as wheels and track
- Adjust the spline points and its settings
- Review what you have and tweak the settings
And that’s it! The BP will automatically calculate how fast to move the track, what pitch / volume their sound should be, and rotate any wheels you have attached! Wheels not designated as “Static” (via tags) will move up and down with the nearest spline point that is lower than the wheel. All models used are instanced on game start to reduce overhead as much as possible.
Notes-
For best results, use multiple moving spline points on the part of the track touching the ground and try to position a spline point directly under wheels.
The tank models used in the game example were created by Synty (War Pack) and use the Advanced Vehicle system for physics.
Tank treads in the game example use lower detail (few spline points) treads. Higher spline point counts will increase how accurate the tread sticks to the ground.
